Match Report- Bank of England, Roehampton, Richmond Park- Saturday 23rd October 2010

It was a good K&P turnout at this year’s Bank of England match in Richmond Park. The Park was actually rather busy with another cross country event taking place at the same time, which meant we often crossed paths with runners in the other race(Ranelagh/SLH Mob Match).

Despite a dog chasing Jamie McCullagh for sections of the course,he was our first runner in placing 4th. And despite briefly going off course at one point,Richard Mathie was our next runner home in 5th. Matt Hyett was next in in 8th, and he was followed by Peter Wilkins (17th) who was very closely followed by Ant Budarkiwicz (18th).

Bob McDonough (34th) had an encouraging run as did Nicky Atkins (38th). Completing the K&P team were Graham Huntley (45th), Dave Gibbons (47th), Geoff Reed (48th), David Barrington (49th) and Cashel Riordan (50th). In the case of Cashel, this race was his second of the day, having completed the Bushy Park time trial earlier!

In the end our team came 2nd out of 5 five teams, just behind Thames Hare and Hounds. Thanks to everyone who took part.
